The film reunites the trio of Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal with Priyadarshan, who directed them in the first Hera Pheri film. This is the first time the trio has acted together since 2006's Phir Hera Pheri, although Rawal and Shetty appeared in Priyadarshan's Chup Chup Ke and Hulchul.

De Dana Dan Movie Overview:

De Dana Dan (Hindi: दे दना दन) is a 2009 Hindi comedy film directed by Priyadarshan. The story is a partial adaptation of Priyadarshan's own Malayalam film Vettam. The film has a huge star cast which includes Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Katrina Kaif and Sameera Reddy in lead roles. Filming began on 1 December 2008 at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai. The film was released on 27 November 2009.

As with most Priyadarshan films, it is known to be one of the most confusing Bollywood movies ever, with the huge star cast and all the characters running around after each other (causing hilarious scenes and consequences), hence the name De Dana Dan meaning "one after the other", or "helter skelter" in other words.
