Koyla (Devanagari: कोयला, Nastaliq: کوئلہ; translation: Coal) is a 1997 Hindi film produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan.

The film stars Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Amrish Puri, Himani Shivpuri, Johnny Lever, Ashok Saraf and Kunika. Mohnish Behl is featured in a guest appearance. Hrithik Roshan, director Rakesh Roshan's son, worked on this movie as an associate director.

Box-Office-India declared it a below average performer although it was the ninth highest grossing movie of the year (Bollywood films of 1997). The songs 'ghunghate mein chanda hai', 'tanhai, tanhai, tanhai' and 'dekha tujhe to, jeene lage hum' from the film were liked by the listeners.
